Jitter is the biggest threat to voice quality over the Internet and it is very common in networks of developing countries. The Jitter Buffer corrects jitters in the network and gives very good voice quality.

Packet Loss also leads to decrease in voice quality. This happens due to lack of sufficient bandwidth. The Packet Loss Concealment algorithm present in the server predicts lost packets and generates artificial packets to fill the gap.
